3.1 Primary Responsibility- Control and Manage all NPI Engineering activities for plastics.
I. Engineering Data at Quotation (Machine Selection, Cycle time, DL/machine, Automation strategy)
II. FOT, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Tool Buy Off per Quality Box, and PPAP (FAI+Cpk approval)
III. BOM/Engineering Data update and control after Tool trials (Machine, Part weight, Cycle times, DL)
3.2 ESI (Early Supplier Involvement)- All plastics tools, fixtures, materials and other resources necessary for the successful manufacturing of the product.
I. Participate in Tooling DFM reviews, and provide ideas for improving the molding part quality
II. Develop Scientific Molding Process and maintain all the Scientific process worksheets starting from FOT
III. Attend and lead all molding process activity throughout the tool trials until the program is successfully launched in mass production
3.3 Introduce system and Work flow procedure.
I. PFMEA and OI management together with OI subordinate
II. Work together with Operations and handover the qualified molding process achieving targets
