Specific Responsibilities 工作职责
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for various commodities.
- Monitor commodity trends and market conditions to identify strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Conduct thorough cost and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Manage commodity risks, including price volatility and supply disruptions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Develop cost-saving initiatives and strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet their commodity needs.
- Provide periodic reports on metrics and performance.
Required Skill Set 工作技能要求
- Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in resin or paper commodities is preferred
- Dynamic in material sourcing & merchandising.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Displays effective communication skills with all levels of employees, suppliers and management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of product costing structures and cost analysis techniques.
- Experience with strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Familiar with Excel operation
- Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese.
Required Qualifications & Experience 任职资格及经验要求
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Commodity Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the paper or resin industry.
