Responsibilities:
1. Assists with the design and development of electromechanical parts for the new product development.
2. Interfaces with other mechanical engineers responsible for usability and industrial design of electromechanical parts.
3. Report on the status of tasks responsible to the project managers and team members.
4. Interfaces with SCM dept. to drive the cost-saving activities and ratio projects.
5. Interface with external supplier and project team in Germany for the development of electromechanical parts.
6. Series maintenance of existing products for fans, cable reel and cable harnesses.
7. Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
1. Technical university or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering.
2. At least 5+ years of experience in small appliances business.
3. Knowledge of electromechanical parts (motor, cable reel, wiring harnesses etc.) design and development, experience of AC&DC motor development is a plus.
4. Knowledge of commonly applied component development and manufacturing concepts.
5. Experience of using Catia 3DX or the other design software for 3D and 2D drawing created.
6. Experience in collaboration with external suppliers and internal cross departments as R&D perspective is a plus.
